Tamaka Stephens is an upscale event planner and owner of TM Stephens Events & Designs, where she specializes in event management. For more than a decade, Tamaka has created sophisticated, timeless and luxurious event experiences under her company's brand. She has also served as Event Manager for notable events such as the Wade’s World 10-year Anniversary Gala with Dwayne Wade, the Musical Art Institute 1st Annual Benefit Concert Gala featuring Al Jarreau & Gerald Albright, and the Chicago Defender "Men of Excellence" Awards Dinner. Additionally, she has served as Event Assistant for The History Makers "An Evening with Berry Gordy" and the N'DIGO Foundation Gala "Legends de Sol" featuring Aretha Franklin.

Tamaka received her event planning certification from the New York Institute of Art & Design. She also earned a Bachelor’s of Applied Science degree from Robert Morris University and is currently pursuing an MBA in Marketing at Devry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management.
